Respiratory allergy

resp all - 3Allergy is a disease that is expressed in the fact that the body is more sensitive to some allergen or substance. It can be like pollen from trees, some kind of food, as well as pet hair, saliva, it can also be allergic to chemicals such as pills, shampoos, deodorants, etc.

In general, there are many irritants, and for each person who suffers from this disease, he has his own, or several. Allergy has several forms. One of the forms is respiratory allergy.

It is an allergy that is perceived by the respiratory tract, through the mucous membrane. When particles of an irritant enter the mucous membrane, then a person begins a reaction that is somewhat similar to a cold illness:

  • increased sneezing
  • difficult breathing
  • wheezing in the chest
  • fever
  • slimy eyes
  • cough
  • cold

Respiratory allergies can be caused not only by the ingress of an allergen into the airways, but also by a tick bite that can live in the mattress and pillow, pet hair, and even pet food, as it gives off an odor that can cause allergies.

When an allergen enters the body, the allergy begins literally in a minute. The plus is that you can understand what you last contacted with and what caused it.

Most often, wheat plants, trees, shrubs, and other weeds are harmful to people with such diseases. If an allergy occurs at home, then you need to look in which part of the house it is aggravated, because flowers can be the cause of the allergy.

Respiratory allergies are even divided into types:

  • allergic bronchitis (this is inflammation of the bronchi, can also occur not only as a result of the ingress of an allergen into the body, but also complications as a result of ARVI disease)
  • allergic laryngitis (Tonsils may become inflamed after exposure to an allergen)
  • allergic rhinitis (most common in spring, due to flowering plants, causes swelling in the throat)
  • allergic conjunctivitis (The main irritant is pollen that flies in the air and gets on the eyes, the lacrimal sac becomes inflamed, followed by swelling around the eye)
  • allergic alveolitis (inflammation of the alveolitis of the lungs)

Respiratory allergy treatment

When treating a respiratory allergy, it is necessary to analyze what is the source of the allergy, what has recently caused the allergy, and try not to appear in places where allergies most often occur. Also, you do not need to be treated with traditional medicine and home medicine.

Diseases of this type appeared not very long ago, and many years ago they did not even know what it was, so it is better to go to the doctor. There are a huge number of medicines. For each type of allergy, there are different medicines. If conjunctivitis, then eye drops are used to combat this disease.

For other types of this disease, there are mainly pills, but if a person has difficulty breathing and cannot take a pill, then drops are used. There are also drugs that immediately fight all types of respiratory allergies, they are universal. But most drugs have significant side effects.

It can be like drowsiness, vomiting, decreased productivity, a negative effect on the state of the heart. Essential medicines are antihistamines. Their main feature is fast action, calming effect, pain reduction, do not cause vomiting, dissolve well, as a result of which they can be used in the form of injections, do not cause addiction and with each use they do not lose their strength.

Antihistamines are classified into two types.

The first is the first generation drugs, they are described above, and the second generation. The second generation drugs, unlike the first ones, can be addictive, and have a huge effect on the heart. But they have a greater healing effect than drugs of the first generation, and if you drink these drugs for a long time, they do not reduce their healing properties, they remain.

You can also still be treated with traditional medicine, but this is not recommended. Most often these are rinses with any herbs, or tea or herbal decoction. The most common is a decoction on bay leaves. Take 5-6 leaves of lavrushka and pour boiling water over it. All this is infused for 15 minutes. The liquid is poured into containers in a volume of 40-60 ml. Such a broth should be drunk during the day and in no case should it be drunk while eating. This broth is drunk separately.

A decoction on birch leaves is also very common. Birch leaves are poured with boiling water in the proportion of a handful of leaves and half a liter of boiling water. After which the tea should be infused for half an hour. You need to drink such a broth instead of tea, lasting at least a week.

Also, with this disease, it is recommended to drink drugs for prevention, it can be both folk decoctions, and tablets and drops.

Also, in case of a respiratory allergy, you need to constantly clean the house, carry out wet cleaning, there should be as less dust, you may have to install an air conditioner or an air humidifier, as well as minimize the presence of carpets, as there may be an allergy to the pile and dust contained in the carpet.

You need to completely exclude smoking cigarettes and any other tobacco products from your diet, exclude electronic cigarettes, even which do not contain tobacco. Do not drink carbonated drinks, highly colored drinks, you may have to exclude deodorants and shampoos.
